"Fire"

This painting was created in 2023. There had been many unsettling things happening in our world. It would make me think about what I do when things get too overwhelming. When hope slips, and I worry that everything wrong with the world may never be made right, I crawl into my sanctuary and hold tight, grieve for what is lost, rest away the weariness, and search for strength to go back out there and make changes—no matter how small.
